The best potential for stratigraphic trapping is associated basement highs flanked by lows providing a conduit for oil migration as well as a framework for trapping. A basement high runs east/west up the spine of the Berbice Block and outcrops on the western edge.

We have acquired more than 100,000 kms of aeromagnetic profile data and grid from Paterson, Grant and Watson Limited (www.pgw.on.ca) of Toronto, including regional structural interpretation. The geochemical and aeromagnetic data will be integrated with available gravity surveys.
